Punta Gorda Isles (PGI)
The Isles are located on a system of deep saltwater canals that provide the homeowners with quick access to Charlotte Harbor.
PGI is a deed-restricted community with city water and sewers. All
the canal lots have concrete seawalls. The seawalls and canals are maintained by the
city for a $250 line item on the annual tax bill - a terrific deal! PGI is a well-manicured, upscale
community.
The canal system was designed to provide the vast majority of homesites with unobstructed
boating access. The combination of no bridges and deep-water canals with access to Charlotte
Harbor with over 100 square miles of open water creates a sailor's paradise.
